Dale
Appell, Tampa personal injury attorney
Dale moved to Tampa Bay after graduating
from Duke University School of Law in 1989. He received
his B.A. degree with honors from the University of Pennsylvania
in 1986. Prior to establishing his own firm, Dale worked
as an attorney at one of the Bay's largest law firms,
Johnson, Blakely, Pope, Bokor, Ruppel & Burns, P.A.
He is a member of the Florida Bar since 1999 and The Florida
Bar and Trial Lawyers Section. He is an Eagle member of
The Florida Justice Association. He is also a member of
The Hillsborough County Bar Association, The Clearwater
Bar Association and a Barrister with the Tampa Bay Inns
of Court. Dale is a member of the Florida Bar's Speakers
Bureau and speaks often to groups on topics related to
insurance law. Dale is admitted into all Florida State
Courts and The United States District Court for the Middle
District of Florida. He has served several terms as President
for both Duke University and University of Pennsylvania
local alumni associations.
Jeff
Shelquist, Tampa

Jeff Shelquist has been a trial attorney
since 1993 having tried over 100 cases to verdict in both
civil and criminal cases. Jeff began his career with Pinellas
County Public Defender's office and in 1995 joined the
firm of Venable & Venable handling tobacco and asbestos
mass tort cases, complex tort litigation and criminal
defense matters. After joining the nationally recognized
criminal defense attorney Barry Cohen, P.A.'s office in
2000, Jeff opened his own law firm specializing in personal
injury, criminal defense, consumer litigation and health
care law. Jeff received his Bachelor of Arts degree from
the University of South Florida in 1989 and his Juris
Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University in 1992.
Jeff is admitted to practice in all Florida State Courts,

the United States Supreme Court. Jeff is a member of the
Florida Justice Association, The Florida Bar's Trial Lawyers

Tina
Robertson, Tampa personal injury paralegal
Tina
Robertson has more than 15 years of paralegal experience.
She began her career with a leading worker's compensation
defense firm in Louisville, Kentucky, before she moved
to Tampa, Florida in 1991. Tina has worked with several
prominent Tampa law firms including Fowler White Boggs
Banker. Tina's personal injury paralegal career has been
mainly focused on plaintiff's personal injury and worker's
compensation.
Crystal
Rush
In
the legal field for more than 20 years, Crystal Rush has
worked in a variety of roles such as office management,
legal assistant, and information systems administrator.
Crystal has been involved with insurance defense and plaintiff's
personal injury law for both small and large firms throughout
her career, including some firms with more than 100 attorneys.
Prior to joining Dale Appell, Crystal worked at the Clearwater
Bar Association as an Accounting and IT coordinator.
Jim,
Tampa personal injury investigator
As
a personal injury investigator, Jim interviews clients
and witnesses, locates and secures evidence, performs
surveillance duties, and helps prepare cases for trial.
For more than 35 years, Jim has worked in law enforcement
and detective work. In addition, Jim has received a special
recognition letter from U.S. Secret Service, worked in
Narcotics and Dangerous Drug Law Enforcement with the
DEA, and served as Captain of Detectives in his home state
of Kentucky.
Cheryl
Brady
Cheryl brings her significant
experience in business operations and marketing to serve
as our firm's administrator. During her career she has
served as a Senior Account Executive for Marketing Associates,
Inc., acting as the company's key liaison for its Fortune
500 client base. Her duties there also included the development
and expansion of several associated businesses including
a not-for-profit, a coffee retail establishment, Indigo,
Inc., and a residential real estate development. Before
joining the firm, Cheryl was the Vice President of Operations
for Eliant, Inc., a company that conducted and managed
customer satisfaction survey programs for the housing
industry. During her tenure, the company grew from 12
to 80 employees and won the Greater Tampa Bay Chamber's
Small Business of the Year Award.
Doris
Cooper
Doris provides the firm
with bookkeeping, payroll, and accounting services. She
received her certification as a QuickBooks Pro Advisor
in 2007 and as an expert specialist in Microsoft Office
in 1999. She graduated Summa Cum Laude [GPA 4.0] from
Southwest Florida College. Doris was born in Hemer, Germany
and is bilingual, fluent in both English and German.
